A man sustained facial injuries after being struck with a glass during a function at a licensed club in Mortdale.

Police were called to the business on Boundary Road about 11.00pm (Saturday 7 December 2013), responding to reports of a fight involving two men. They arrived to find a 19-year-old man had sustained cuts to his face after allegedly being struck with a schooner glass during an argument. He was treated at the scene before being taken to St George Hospital. Police spoke with a number of people at the scene and are now appealing for information about the incident.
